Before you dive into your sunny spring break in Mexico, you'll want to know these tips! Travel tip: Don't forget to exchange your currency with CXI before you go. We even offer services for students traveling abroad

Plan Your Trip Ahead

An easy way to plan your trip before you go is by downloading a tourist guide, depending on exactly where you plan to be in Mexico. You'll be able to find the best activities and sights to see in the area.

Remember that going in a group might save you some money. Keep in mind that if you're a student traveling in a group, you may be eligible for a special group rate with CXI. Learn more about CXI's student travel services here.

Know Where to Stay

For a more laidback beach experience, you could stay in Mulegé, Baja California Sur. Mulegé has a beautiful beach, a low population, and fun activites for you to experience.

However, many springbreakers enjoy popular resorts such as Cancun. You can find hotels to stay in for as cheap as $30.00 USD a night.

Eat the Best Food

In Mexico, you have to try some of the best authentic food. El Califa is one of the best taquerias with a large menu of tacos and quesadillas.

Or you could check out El Mirador de Chapultepec for a classics 1950s Mexican restaurant experience. For vegan and vegetarian options, we recommend Por Siempre Vegana Taqueria. They have cheap vegan tacos!

Check Out Fun Activities

If you're interested in water activities, you can visit one of the largest underwater cave systems, Cenote Dos Ojos, and go diving there. Or if you're feeling brave, you can go swimming with sharks with the Holbox Whale Shark Tours!

Looking for something more artsy? Check out the National Museum of Anthropology, where general admission tickets are $75.00 MXN and you can see beautiful collections of historical artifacts.
