We care about you and about the good international travel brings to the world. Experiencing new places, people, and cultures cannot be replaced with video calls and screens. During the pandemic, we've kept a close watch on sentiment toward travel and it's been a wild ride. We want you to know that no matter if you are ready to go now or are waiting for the right time, we will be here for you when you are ready.

With that said, we can tell you one of our most popular reads this summer has been our US travel restrictions list. We've been updating our list at least monthly and decided to start a new one for the new season. So where did we leave off?

Well, US travelers are continuing to see new destinations available and new requirements for travelers reaching some countries. Where there's a will there's a way. If it's exploring out on safari or kicking back on the beach, if you are ready, there's an international travel destination waiting for you.

As noted above, to protect international travelers and local residents from a large outbreak of the virus, government officials in these countries are putting in place new guidelines at hotels and airports. Additionally, travelers can expect preventive measures they will need to adhere to for their travel. Many countries are requiring temperatures checks and coronavirus testing before being admitted into the country. Make sure to check the most up to date resources on travel requirements before booking a trip.

Here are some of the top destinations that are making plans to reopen or are currently open.

*= some restrictions may include and are not limited to requiring masks to be worn in public places, social distancing measures that limit gathering sizes, a recent certified negative test, self-quarantines, and more.

Note: International travel restrictions and guidelines are being updated around the world regularly. The information below is accurate as of Nov 2, 2020. We will continue to update and provide additional travel destinations as they become available. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) also provides the latest travel restrictions per country via an interactive map.
