Currency Exchange International Sponsors Orlando Strong
Currency Exchange International sponsored and participated in the OrlandoStrong 5k run at the University of Central Florida (UCF) on Saturday, July 2. The event was to raise funds in support of those affected by the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting.
After hearing the earth-shattering news about the Orlando shootings that took place at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, our community was devastated. As a company headquartered in Orlando and with so many employees tied to the city, it was inspiring to see all of the outpouring of support from within and outside our community.
Knowing that we wanted to do something to help, we gained news of the UCF OrlandoStrong 5k. More than half of CXI's Orlando team are alumni of UCF and it was clear this was a way that we could come together in a show of strength and unity, while doing good for those victimized by the tragedy.
We thank everyone who was able to participate in the event and continue to help those affected by the horrific shooting in our thoughts and prayers. Hate will never prevail and we will remain #OrlandoStrong.
